Answer : given :1/4 part of the garden is
planted with chrysanthemum
2/4 part
of the garden is planted with dahlia
Solve : 1/4 +
2/4 = 1+2 = 3/4

3. 1 ballpoint costs Rp 3.750,00 and 1 note book
costs Rp 2.250.00. Ria
buys 3 ballpoint and 2 note books. Ria pays twenty thousands
rupiahs. How
Much is the change?
Answer : shoping price = (3 x Rp 3.750,00) + (2 x Rp 2.250,00)
= Rp 11.250,00
+ Rp 4.500,00
= Rp 15.750,00
Change = money paid - shoping price
= Rp 20.000,00
– Rp 15.750,00
= Rp 4.250,00
So, the
change ria receives is Rp 4.250,00
4. Ari and madi are
playing kites. The length of ari's kite rope is 10 m. The
length of madi's kite rope is 1.500 cm.
How many cm is the difference
between the length of ari's and madi's kite rope ?
Answer : length of ari's kite rope 10 m = 1.000 cm
Length of madi's kite
rope 1.500 cm
1.500 - 1.000 = 500 cm
So, the difference between ari's and madi's kite rope is 500 cm.
5. Ari
is coloring a flat parallelogram-shaped structure. The base of the
Parallelogram is 12 cm and its height is 7
cm. What is the area of the
parallelogram colored by ari?
Answer :
base = 12 cm
Height = 7 cm
Area = base x
height
= 12 cm x 7 cm = 84
cm^
So, the
area of parallelogram colored by ari is 84 cm^.
